For more than a decade, the Mercedes-Benz factory in Kecskemét has been supporting the practice-oriented training of students so that they can acquire competitive knowledge during their university studies. With this practical knowledge they can be the best in the vehicle industry and have a prosperous career.

The Mercedes-Benz factory in Kecskemét and John von Neumann University have been working together since the beginning. Their cooperation has become a success story, as evidenced by the results of the students who have now obtained their degrees here.

During everyday work, the factory can rely on the students’ confident, up-to-date knowledge acquired during their university studies and is constantly waiting for the engineers of the future.

This year, for the third time, the popular “Made in Kecskemét” course is being launched. Its goal is that during their studies, students can acquire knowledge directly from automotive industry experts. With this experience, they can start their careers more prepared and effective after graduation. As usual, the first lecture of the semester will be given by factory director Christian Wolff.

In 2012, the JNU vehicle engineering BSc launched, which marked and established the long-term success of the cooperation between the higher education institution and the factory. And this year, the optional course “Made in Kecskemét” starts for the third time – all of this clearly shows the success of the cooperation with the higher education institution, the BSc program and the course.

Whether it is vocational school education or higher education training, the Mercedes-Benz factory in Kecskemét sees the training of future vehicle industry professionals as a strategic issue and at the same time ensuring its own supply.

Mercedes-Benz counts on those young students who imagine their future in car manufacturing and in Kecskemét.
