Óbuda University is the number one practice-oriented technical University in Budapest, Hungary. Their engineering and applied science departments and programs are among the nation’s oldest with 140 years of rich tradition, established in 1879.

ÓU students are involved in professional practice at foreign partners annually; students are required and encouraged to participate in active research and design in the project laboratories and to develop their abilities to do independent research.


The aim of the course is the training of mechatronics engineers who, in possession of the acquired complex skills in natural sciences, electronic, mechanical and computer engineering as well as economics, will be capable of supervising and managing processes of manufacturing, assembly and quality regulation based on the use of mechatronic devices and equipment, and capable of constructing general mechatronics devices and operating as well as maintaining mechatronics systems.

The training is useful for applicants with a BSc degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics who want to gain deeper knowledge in the field of mechanical design and welding technologies, and those for whom it is useful to learn professional English during their studies.
