Programme structure
Specializations:
- Robotics
The field of robotics is a multidisciplinary field that includes a number of different branches of engineering, including mechanical, electronic, computer, and systems engineering, which can be used to support a wide range of industries. Embedded programming, control systems, automated decision making, and power electronics are all included in this area.
Robotics relies heavily on computing technology. A computer scientist is needed to research high-level programming and understand robotic software platforms. Computer scientists work on the programming side of robotics, rather than the hardware side, as mechanical and electrical engineers do.
- Biomedical Engineering
Cyber-medical systems will produce a major revolution in health care, by both raising the quality of care and reducing its cost, thus reaching an important social and economic goal. The discovery and applications of biosensors, the analysis of large-scale real-time biomedical data, the growing importance of improving medical services are strong indicators that cyber-medical systems will redesign health care in the years to come. Cyber-Medical Systems (CMS) connects physical healthcare systems with computational components. This case of special smart systems is related to medical devices, robotics, computer and control engineering, cloud computing, medical knowledge-based systems and of course medical science. In other words, CMSs integrates medical knowledges with engineering applications in order to create personalized smart healthcare techniques.
- Mobile Application and Game Development
Please note that specialisations are launched only with the necessary amount of students.
Career opportunities
In the tech world, you don’t look for a job, you get to choose it. It is the industry with the most demand with companies struggling to fill all available positions.
The aim of the course is to qualify engineers who, having acquired the necessary high-level scientific and specific IT-related technological skills, are competent to design new IT systems and tools, are able to develop and integrate IT systems, conduct and coordinate IT-purpose research and development tasks.
