Óbuda University is the number one practice-oriented technical University in Budapest, Hungary. Their engineering and applied science departments and programs are among the nation’s oldest with 140 years of rich tradition, established in 1879.

ÓU students are involved in professional practice at foreign partners annually; students are required and encouraged to participate in active research and design in the project laboratories and to develop their abilities to do independent research.
Training Technical Managers who are equipped with appropriate knowledge in natural and technical science, economic and organisational skills which are needed for the integrated solutions in production and services regarding the material, financial and IT fields as well as human resources.
A technical management degree combines technology skills with business management practices in order to help you better understand how to efficiently implement technology solutions in the workplace. It is suitable for those who are interested in both technical and economic fields, production technology processes, and would like to organise a business or manage projects.
A technical management degree prepares students for work overseeing the technical aspects of running and managing a business. Common work examples include programming, network troubleshooting and computer information systems. Technical managers are also highly qualified to lead complex technology projects such as global computer networks.

The one- or two semester long cooperative professional practice module is a voluntary and supplementary practical experience programme for full-time bachelor programme. During cooperative professional practice, students work on-site for companies participating in the cooperative programme of the university in order to gain professional experience.
Please note that specialisations are launched only with the necessary amount of students.
